Break the Dawn celebrates transformation - the first light of day; emotions of love, joy and deep reflection; the richest colours of indigo to the most vibrant gold; the movement of people across land and sea; ancient melodies reimagined; and our instruments dismantled and reconstructed to make something entirely new.

We have been playing together over the last seven years, creating original music born out of group improvisation. Break the Dawn was recorded in single takes in London's Union Chapel with producer and sound engineer Les Mommsen.

'iyatra' derives from the Hindi word for travel or pilgrimage and we hope that each track will take you on an imaginative, exciting and evocative journey.
